THREATS / FOE RELATIONSHIPS

Warhammer Survivors enemies

Warhammer Survivors' named threats fall into factions, bosses, and enemy families rather than a single difficulty ladder. Tyranids, Skaven, Orks, Death Guard, and Blades of Khorne define the broad groups; Great Unclean One, Ghazghkull Thraka, and Vizzik Skour show how a named threat fits inside one of them.

THREATS / FOE RELATIONSHIPS

Factions first, named threats second

Tyranids and Orks belong to Warhammer 40,000, while Skaven and Blades of Khorne belong to Age of Sigmar. Death Guard is another Warhammer 40,000 faction, and Great Unclean One is a large threat linked to it. These universe labels show where each group fits without placing every faction on one battlefield.

The Ork cluster has the clearest internal chain: Grots, Boyz, Warbikers, and Bomb Squigs sit under Orks, while Ghazghkull Thraka is the named Extremis boss in the same family. Vizzik Skour is the named boss linked to Skaven. Follow a family link when you want to move from a broad threat group to a specific target.

Health values, spawn tables, and counter rules are not available yet. Start with the faction, universe, threat type, and related family when planning what to learn next.

THREATS / FOE RELATIONSHIPS

Trace a threat through a run

A survivor-style run makes a threat meaningful through space and pressure. Pair a foe with its battlefield setting, then use Burning, Poisoned, Oiled, or Stunned to describe what can happen around a target. Progression shows how weapons and power-ups answer repeated pressure.

A large threat can matter because it anchors a relationship, a faction can matter because it defines the visual field, and a smaller family entry can matter because you recognize it quickly while moving. Use those distinctions instead of assuming that one list captures every threat's role.

Filter by family, then follow the relationship strip back to the related faction or battlefield. A labeled connection lets you move from the pressure you see to the setting and run system that explain it.

THREATS / FOE RELATIONSHIPS

A practical threat reading order

Start with the faction, then check the universe and threat type. That sequence tells you whether you are looking at a broad enemy family, a named boss, or a large threat tied to another faction. It also makes the relationship strip easier to understand when several records share the same visual language.

The Ork set is a useful example. Orks provide the family, Grots, Boyz, Warbikers, and Bomb Squigs provide the related enemy entries, and Ghazghkull Thraka provides the named Extremis boss. Keep the family names separate from the boss name so recognition and relationship stay clear during a fast run. Tyranids, Skaven, and Orks are enemy factions; Death Guard and Blades of Khorne are faction reveals; Great Unclean One is a large threat, while Ghazghkull Thraka and Vizzik Skour are named bosses. That threat-type split tells you whether to start with a faction, a family, or a single target.

Pair the foe with the status and battlefield entries. A foe name identifies the pressure, a status effect describes a possible target state, and a battlefield gives the surrounding setting. The chain builds a mental map without requiring a final counter table. Skaven connects to Vizzik Skour, Death Guard to Great Unclean One, and Orks to Grots, Boyz, Warbikers, Bomb Squigs, and Ghazghkull Thraka.
